Our Beliefs

Beliefs

Bible

(2 Tim. 3:16-17)

We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God

(2 Tim. 3:16-17)

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

One God

(Eph. 4:4-6)

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons

(Eph. 4:4-6)

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Eternal Life

(1 Cor. 15:1-4)

We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the Remission of sins and that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life.

(1 Cor. 15:1-4)

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Forgiveness

(Acts 17:30-31)

We believe that all have sinned, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for all, for the forgiveness of sins.

(Acts 17:30-31)

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Holy Spirit

(Acts 2:17-21, 1 Cor. 14:1)

We believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that miracles are for today.

(Acts 2:17-21, 1 Cor. 14:1)

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:

Second Coming

(1 Thess. 4:13-18, Rev. 20:4-6)

We believe in the second coming of Jesus to gather His saints in the rapture and the resurrection and to reign on the earth for a thousand years.

(1 Thess. 4:13-18, Rev. 20:4-6)

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Judgement

(2 Cor. 5:9-11, Rev. 20:11-15)

We believe that all will face the Judgment seat of Christ, whether believers or unbelievers.

(2 Cor. 5:9-11, Rev. 20:11-15)

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
