I am Pastor Owen Green Lead Pastor of Genesis Church.  I am married to a loving and supportive wife Kristi Green, who is an integral part of me fulfilling the call of God in my life.  We are blessed with 9 lovely children.  I was saved in September 1995 when I heard the voice of God while I was in prison.  He said to me that it was time and I said yes.  He has been using me in ministering in the prisons and pastoring for over 26 years.  My heart is to see people come to Christ and fulfill their divine purpose.

My name is Chris Lacy, I’ve been a Christian since 2010. I felt God calling me to become a Pastor through several people in 2019. So, I pursued the calling and became official in 2022. In 2022 all of the leadership team through prayer and seeking God, felt that we were called to plant a church in Windham County. I have been the assistant Pastor of Genesis church since March of 2022.

Hi! My name is Kristi Green, I am the Community Connections Coordinator for Genesis Church. I plan all of our community outreach events like Community Supper, our Park Outreach events, The Prom Project and Back to School events. If you love to volunteer, I’m the person you want to see! I also serve as the church Secretary and the Children’s Church Director. I am married to Pastor Owen and together we are raising 9 children! We met in 2004 when I got saved while working for the same company. Over the last 20 years we have served in many roles in ministry and are excited to be here in Willimantic starting this new work!

My name is Rebecca Lacy, I’ve been a Christian since 1992. Best decision I ever made being a follower of Jesus Christ! I’m married to Pastor Chris, I’m one of the Sunday School Teachers and have been the Treasurer of Genesis Church since March of 2022.
